Winter is coming, but we’re delighted to bring you some gig news to warm the cockles of your heart, with the announcement of Newberry & Verch tour dates for early 2020. This fantastic American/Canadian duo will return to the UK at the end of January for an extensive tour, kicking off with a headline concert at Glasgow’s prestigious Celtic Connections festival. Outstanding banjoist, guitarist, singer and award-winning songwriter Joe Newberry and his duo partner, exceptional fiddler, step dancer and singer April Verch will bring us their appealing blend of folk, bluegrass and old time Americana, with ballads, joyful fiddle tunes and poignant original and traditional songs – plus some spectacular Ottawa Valley step dancing from April!
