Hailing from Toronto, multi-talented Canadians The Slocan Ramblers combine impressive bluegrass musicianship with a fresh approach and contemporary appeal. In the last few years the quartet has become a leading light of Canada’s roots music scene, building on their reputation for energetic live shows, impeccable musicianship and an uncanny ability to convert anyone within earshot into a lifelong fan. Their third album, Queen City Jubilee (2018) has already amassed glowing reviews as well as a prestigious Juno Award Nomination for Traditional Roots Album of the Year.

“Contemporary bluegrass at its very best…their new album, Queen City Jubilee, could be the one that propels them to the forefront of the acoustic roots scene.” – Songlines magazine

The Slocan Ramblers have also been nominated for a coveted Band Momentum Award by the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) and will be an official showcase artist at the IBMA’s major event and festival in North Carolina this September. The band returns to the UK in late October 2019  after a hugely successful autumn 2018 tour saw them play to packed-out rooms across the country.
