We’re delighted to have booked a short UK for amazingly talented duo Newberry & Verch, a fantastic collaboration featuring the talents of Canadian fiddle ace April Verch and North Carolina-based Joe Newberry, man of many talents – a superb clawhammer banjoist, guitarist, singer and songwriter. April also has more strings to her bow (boom, boom!) as a singer and (spectacular) step dancer. Those who have seen her perform with her popular trio the April Verch Band will know what I’m talking about – check out this clip for a quick preview!
This duo is not to be missed – they are only in the country for a week, en route to their Austrian tour, so do grab the chance to see them if you are near one of the lucky venues to have scheduled a gig.
