(or yourself)

Celebrated mandolinist Mike Compton has a superb musical CV; he co-founded the massively influential Nashville Bluegrass Band in the 1980s and also worked with the legendary John Hartford for many years. Mike was one of the original Soggy Bottom Boys, performing on the Grammy-winning soundtrack to the smash hit film O Brother, Where Art Thou? and in a long and illustrious career he has performed and recorded with stars from Elvis Costello to the late Ralph Stanley. Talented multi-instrumentalist Joe Newberry is known for his powerful clawhammer banjo work, singing and award winning songwriting. A frequent guest on cult show A Prairie Home Companion, Joe also performs in various collaborations including a duo with guitarist Jon Shain and a project with phenomenal fiddler/step dancer April Verch. Joe was also a guest star on the UK’s popular Transatlantic Sessions live tour in early 2016, and is a hugely charismatic entertainer who charms audiences wherever he goes.
