Brother Mule concert in Huddersfield tomorrow!

Fantastic transatlantic trio Brother Mule is well known on the UK bluegrass and old time scene but a well kept secret in this country beyond it. Formed over ten years ago by American musicians Brian Wicklund (fiddle) from Minnesota and Ben Winship (mandolin) of Idaho, they’re joined on their short UK tour by top London double bass player, singer and saxophonist Ben Somers. All three of these guys are phenomenal musicians, and they will bring us music spanning many genres including bluegrass, old-time Americana, Celtic folk, Western Swing and more.

This is our first full True North Music event at the Carlile Institute after a brilliant Tilter Wheel concert here in October co-hosted by the Community Hub. The Carlile Institute is a fine 19th Century building in the heart of Meltham, with a beautiful first floor concert room (there is a brand new lift for accessibility). There will be a licensed bar. With 80 tickets already sold, we are on course to sell out and there really is only a handful of tickets remaining online, and a few available locally at Café 33 in Meltham. So grab yours now if you were planning to join us. It’s set to be a cracking night of top quality music!
