Award-winning Mancunian singer-songwriter Kyla Brox has been described as “the finest female blues singer of her generation. She’s been a professional musician since the age of twelve, and has many albums and numerous international tours under her belt. She will perform for us in an acoustic duo with her husband, virtuoso acoustic guitarist Danny Blomeley. Opening the show will be talented Leeds-based multi-instrumentalist and singer Simon Robinson. Simon will perform a selection of traditional tunes and folk/Americana songs in a duo with gifted musician Mick Russell, and between them they’ll be playing banjo, fiddle, guitar and dulcimer! Simon recently released his second album When The Sun Goes In and in normal times plays regularly at gigs and sessions across Yorkshire, performing solo and with his trio the Redwood River Band.
