I’m really excited to announce that I’m working with two more exceptional artists on their 2019 UK tour plans. John Reischman & the Jaybirds are planning to come to the UK in April/May 2019 for a rare outing on this side of the Atlantic. Grammy winner and bandleader John Reischman is a master of the mandolin, writer of some classic tunes and massively influential among acoustic musicians across the world. I’ve had the privilege of seeing John perform a couple of times when he has been in the UK to teach at the Sore Fingers bluegrass camp, and he really is one of the best. I’ve never had the opportunity to see his full band, an exceptional line-up of award-winning bluegrass and old time musicians, and I’m delighted to be booking this tour for them! Also planning a UK return in summer 2019 is the mighty Front Country, one of my favourite bands, and I am absolutely thrilled to be working with these guys on their UK booking. Drawing on a broad palette of pop, rock, bluegrass, Americana, blues and jazz influences, Front Country has quickly become renowned as a sensational live act. They refer to their style as “roots-pop” in an effort to explain their wide-ranging musical style. Touring almost continually across the world over the last five years, Front Country released their second album Other Love Songs to warm reviews in 2017 and recently headed up the list of 10 New Country Artists to Watch in Rolling Stone magazine. This storming live band will be available for a selection of festival and concert performances. Read more about Front Country here.
