Coming up in February 2016, our good friends over at Steel City Opry will be hosting the Evie Ladin Duo from California. Featuring the multi-talented Evie on banjo, voice and percussive dance, alongside partner, percussionist and dancer Keith Terry, the duo’s music and dancing is steeped in the traditions of old time American music, but with a fresh and original slant all their own. Evie is a great clawhammer banjo player with a clear, soulful voice, as well as a fabulous Appalachian clogger. Keith is a highly respected percussionist and master of percussive dance, and their live act features aspects of all these elements, creating a highly entertaining show.
