Evie Ladin & Keith Terry tour coming up!

Dynamic American roots music & dance duo Evie & Keith hit the UK this May & June for a run of dates

Multi-talented singer, songwriter, clawhammer banjo player and step-dancer Evie Ladin grew up surrounded by traditional folk music, playing banjo from the age of 8 and clogging since she was just 5. Evie is steeped in Appalachian music and dance, but also brings an urban edge and contemporary vision to her music. Now based in California, Evie was formerly the driving force behind Bay Area all-female string band The Stairwell Sisters. Trained as a jazz drummer and known for his work in contemporary Body Music, talented musician & dancer Keith Terry takes care of percussive duties on double bass, cajon and more. He’s the founder of the International Body Music festival and a spectacular proponent of the art. Together, Evie and Keith create a mesmerising live show and their gigs are a hugely entertaining mix of American roots music, song and dance.

Evie and Keith are well known on the old time music scene but are something of an under-the-radar treasure on the broader acoustic scene. They are simply superb live performers and their trademark mix of music, dance and body percussion makes for a very special show. They’ll be starting out their UK tour at London’s Green Note and will be featured at Fire in the Mountain festival in deepest Wales at the end of the run, with gigs throughout England, Scotland and Wales in between.
