Virtuosic Colorado five-piece The Railsplitters are halfway through their UK tour and the plaudits keep coming, following a spectacular Celtic Connections festival debut in Glasgow and numerous packed houses, including their gigs at Sheffield Greystones, Letham Nights in Fife and a huge Swansea show to over 300 punters. The band has received warm praise across the UK for their outstanding musicianship, the stunning vocal talents of Lauren Stovall, breathtaking harmonies and the range and ambition of their music.
“The band were FANTASTIC last night! One of the best we’ve had the privilege of hosting. Fabulous singing/playing/writing and the sound they made was nothing short of incredible! A truly memorable night of music.” – Helsby Bluegrass Club
“The Railsplitters truly won me over at Birnam Arts with the awesome Planted On The Ground , which combined a great vocal melody and exquisite harmonies with a sudden and deft change in tone and pace that Surf’s Up –era Brian Wilson would be proud of.” – Small City Big Personality
The Railsplitters continue criss-crossing the UK until 17th February. This coming weekend sees completely sold-out gigs at Selby, Farnham and Whitstable, but you can still catch this superlative live band at a number of locations across the country.
